The continent’s leaders begin to realize their past misjudgments and conflicts are meaningless and harmful. They determine to cease the internal strife under Zhang Gong’s influence and mediation.

Ultimately, Zhang Gong’s efforts prevail. The eastern and western races reconcile and live in peace, with Zhang Gong as the connection between them. By mastering light magic and persevering in his aspiration, Zhang Gong is able to bring the different races together and become the Grand Mage and the Child of Light.
