Legend of Awakening

The Legend of Awakening, adapted from Butterfly Blue’s book of the same name, chronicles the story of Lu Ping and Su Tang, two children who escaped from a mysterious sect in a world of cultivation.

Infusion, Sound, Qi, Pivot, Strength, Essence, and Excellence: these seven forces of the soul have produced countless mighty cultivators. Lu Ping and Su Tang were born with exceptional spiritual roots, so they were taken by the sect at a young age to be trained as disciples. However, the harsh training and cruel treatment were too much for the children to bear. They decided to risk their lives escaping at the dead of night.

After their escape, Lu Ping and Su Tang relied on each other to survive in the outside world. They worked together hunting low-level demonic beasts in exchange for money and resources. Although life was difficult, they enjoyed the freedom and adventures. While in battle, they would use the cultivation techniques they had learned from the sect to overcome powerful enemies.

One day, they ventured into a forbidden region and discovered an ancient heritage site. They met an old cultivator who took them as students after hearing their tragic story. Under his guidance, Lu Ping and Su Tang advanced by leaps and bounds. They learned powerful skills and secret techniques far surpassing their peers.

With courage and wits, Lu Ping and Su Tang traveled across the continent battling evil forces threatening mankind. Relying on the bond between them, they overcame every obstacle in their way. Although they started out as children escaping the darkness of the sect, through perseverance and kinship they were able to find the light. The trials they faced shaped their identities and turned them into the heroes of this manga. Their legend will be passed on for generations as an inspiration to others.
